Lisa Maddaus, P.E., is a principal water resources registered engineer with 30 years of experience preparing water resources planning, conservation, drought, climate change and water loss control studies. She uses her knowledge at international, national, state, and local levels. Since 2001, Lisa has presented over 60 times, including for AWWA National and International Water Association conferences and the United Nations. She has published journal articles and manuals, including AWWA Manual M52, Water Conservation Programs – A Planning Manual. Recent projects include Metropolitan Water District of Southern California Integrated Resources Plan: Water for Tomorrow, Water Demand Expert Peer Review Panelist; Municipal Water District of Orange County (MWDOC) 23 Retailer Urban Water Management Plans and 21 Water Shortage Contingency Plans; and Irvine Ranch Water District WaterDex Remote Control Irrigation Device Effectiveness Pilot Case Study Design & Pilot Post Study Water Savings Evaluation. Lisa has a B.S. and M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from University of California, Davis.
